Featured Photographer – Raymond Cruz

I don't really have a “claim to fame photo”. But I have this shot taken in Dingalan, Aurora which was one of the finalists in the DCmagUK 2009 Photographer of the Year Landscape Category. I was the only Filipino to be shortlisted and entered in the final judging stage over a thousand entries from around the world.

It was only when my work was reviewed by an art teacher and a gallery owner that I was made to realise that I am following a certain pattern. A style that was obvious to them and a revelation for me. But with that being said, I do not deny that I am influenced by my environment.
