I surf the web to look for inspiration and to learn how good designers do their stuff - Typography, Colour combination, Vectors and how they 'Photoshop'. Designers I follow mostly are from Brazil because of their vibrant choices of colours and fresh ideas. For the usual leeway, I google for pinoy designers who can provide some original eye candies and sense of humor on their design.

This post is a prelude to my interview with comic illustrator extraordinaire Wilson Tortosa - A Pinoy who hails from Tondo Manila and already has a name in western comics. I've known him since '04 and he'd gone a long way since. Yet, he's still the man I knew- kind, humble and still prefers noodle stuffed in his refrigerator.

I follow Todd Mcfarlane (Spawn Creator) on Twitter and what he tweeted recently was "HOW 2 MAKE MONEY: Sold a Spidey cover I did years ago for about $700. It's now on EBAY for over $55,000! Guess I should have asked $800". LOL.
