Palawan
Quite a while ago when I posted HDR Philippines and about to hop to our next destination, when I remembered there’s one place I want to visit in the PI, and Palawan that is.
It is ironic when most of us spend our valuable savings to treat our family outside the PI to enjoy what other countries may offer, when most of the foreigners spend their money going to the Philippines. Though I won’t argue because everybody has their own reason.
But, before you pack your bag or book your flight to the next foreign country, I did some of your homework, just ensure you browse the photos below.
This post is a part of a series showcasing the most inspiring images featuring places visited and captured not only by Pinoy photographers but Philippine visitors as well, Hope you will be inspired, and Proud!
“This was the dinner setup for the couple I met back at El Nido. It was already late that evening as we sailed back to our island. This was also the time when the big earthquake hit Chile and the tsunami warnings were issued all over the Philippines. We were supposed to go island hopping that evening because of the bright moonlight but that didn’t happen for some security reasons. So I ended up catching this shot when we got off the speed boat.”

“Taken on an island hoping trip around El Nido, the northern tip of Palawan island in the Philippines. This particular place was called Umbrella beach and was stunning. I love the fact that this isn’t an HDR photo, its just its natural beauty. But be warned of the coral…”

“A green sea turtle swims in the brightly-lit shallows within the Tubbataha United Nations World Heritage reef in the middle of the Sulu Sea; Palawan; Philippines. These turtles are endangered in many other parts of the country, but in the remote environment of Tubbataha’s amazing reef they are thriving.”
“From the towering marble cliffs and enchanting lagoons to its 100 white sandy beaches and lush jungle, El Nido is one of the top tourist destinations in Palawan, which is often referred to as the Philippines’ Last Frontier. In the November-December 2007 issue of the National Geographic Traveler’s magazine, Palawan was chosen as one of the best travel destination in the world, and particularly, it recommended El Nido and the Calamianes Islands.”

Judging from your shots, El Nido is really beautiful. I like the photo of the sea turtle most. Thanks for sharing those lovely photos.
Credit goes to Tommy Schultz for the turtle photo. Thanks!
I never visited the Philippines and I wasn’t aware that you have quite beautiful places to visit. The talents of the photographers really show as based on these shots. Talent in photography plus the latest innovations in technology these days can really give people big bucks. Keep it up guys. :)
